On May 28th 2009 a tragic accident occurred claiming the life of Foothills resident Charmion Planalp and severely injuring U.S.M.C. Lt. Bradford Shirley on the new Robert Vaughn Highway, State Route 195. Concern has been reported over the confusion with traffic control and signing at the intersection of County 14th Street and State Route 195, the new Robert Vaughn service highway near the time of the accident.
We are looking for anyone who traveled on County 14th Street and the State Route 195 in April and May of 2009 and noted a problem with the traffic control at the intersection. If you have any information relating to the traffic control at the intersection of County 14th Streetand State Route 195 please contact me.
